It took over three years before the US acknowledged that a partial meltdown happened at Three Mile Island. A half year after Fukushima its still not clear what caused not one but three reactors to have full meltdowns, at least 3 hydrogen explosions, the undisclosed deaths of workers, billions of dollars of damages and radiation contamination that will effect the region far into the future. Here’s the additional details that played a major part in what happened.
The United Nation’s will be conducting a special meeting on September 22nd concerning the tragic events in Japan and the following meltdowns at Fukushima. This special meeting is will likely be highly controversial in terms of how the UN and its internal structure which places the International Atomic Energy Agency at the top of the UN hierarchy. It is urgent that the general public call for NGO’s and the US representatives don’t whitewash what has and is happening at Fukushima.
