SF Labor Temple Hall Association

The SF Labor Temple Hall Association (SFLTHA) was formally organized on September 17th,1906. Its president in 1914 was James Mullen, the Secretary Treasurer was William McCabe who likely held that position from its inception. The SFLTHA continued to operate the Labor Temple up until its sale in 1970. There is no information yet on when it disbanded.

William McCabe would be the Superintendent as well as the Secretary Treasurer of the Labor Temple from its grand opening on February 27th, 1915 until his death in August 1948. His role of managing the building was taken over by Bob Haddow on August 25th, 1948.George Johns was elected by the SF Labor Council to replace McCabe as Secretary Treasurer of the SFLTHA.
