According to Prensa Latina News Agency, the director of the Cuban National Sports, Physical Education and Recreation Institute Arnaldo Rivero, said that this is a recognition of the country's work, dedication and efforts. We have presented several initiatives and strategies in the course of the years to develop sports, always well received within the UNESCO, Rivero stated. Physical education and its role in the society, the use of human resources, science and sports, among others, will be analyzed in next sessions of the UNESCO Assembly.
