Besides the undersea cable that will stretch from La Guaira, in Venezuela to Siboney, in eastern Cuba, the company will engage in direct marketing and rendering of telecommunications services. The shareholders' equity will be 60 percent for Venezuela's CVG Telecomunicaciones C.A. and 40 percent for Cuban Transbit S.A. The company will have its headquarters in Caracas, with a subsidiary in Cuba.
