OCTOBER 6, 2007 - 11:00 a.m.: STAND WITH CUBA! DEFEND THE CUBAN FIVE!

Hear famed civil rights attorney LEONARD WEINGLASS, one of the Cuban
Five's lawyers (has also represented Jane Fonda, Abby Hoffman, Angela
Davis, Mumia Abu-Jamal, Kathy Boudine and many other political
activists), and GLORIA LA RIVA, Coordinator, National Committee to Free
the Cuban Five and international Cuba solidarity activist who meets
with Fidel Castro during her many visits to Cuba. Other speakers to be
announced.

WHERE: 
Immanuel Presbyterian Church
3333 Wilshire Blvd., corner of Berendo. 

Meeting will discuss defending the Cuban Five and Cuba's sovereignty,
and ending the embargo. Discussion includes analysis of now
declassified U.S. plans for aggression against Cuba post-Castro. 

$5-$10 suggested admission. No one turned away. Light lunch available.
