Hugo Chaves Pays Brief Visit to Cuba on Wednesday

Havana, Nov 21 (acn) Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez made a brief 
visit to Cuba on Wednesday.  Chavez and he met with Cuban President 
Fidel Castro and First Vice President Raul Castro before departing for 
Venezuela earlier this afternoon.

Chavez made a stop-over in Havana after concluding a successful 
international tour that took him to Saudi Arabia, where he attended the 
Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting 
Countries (OPEP), Iran, France and Portugal.

During the meeting in Havana, the three leaders held talks on the 
results of the tour taken by Chavez and on the advancement of different 
joint projects currently being undertaken by Venezuela and Cuba.
