Mexican Activists Protest US Aggressive Policy Against Cuba

Havana, Nov 2 (acn) The Mexican Movement of Solidarity with Cuba called 
for a demonstration on Monday in front of the US embassy in Mexico City 
to condemn the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by 
Washington to the island for over 45 years.

he Mexican activists said that the United States will face the world if 
it continues with its aggressions against Cuba and pointed out that 
countries around the globe gave their response to Washington on October 
30 voting almost unanimously --184 for, 4 against and 1 abstention-- in 
the UN General Assembly for the immediate end to the US blockade 
against Cuba.

The vote came barely six days after US President George Bush addressed 
the international community asking for help to intensify the blockade 
and to support its militaristic policy against Cuba, the organization 
stated.

As part of the demonstration, the Mexican  activists will also pay 
tribute to Cuba-Argentinean legendary guerrilla fighter Ernesto Che 
Guevara at Benito Juarez Chamber.
