Evo Morales to Receive Honoris Causa Degree

La Paz, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian President Evo Morales will
travel to the Dominican Republic to receive a Doctor Honoris Causa
title granted by the Santo Domingo Autonomous University, government
sources confirmed Sunday.

The presidential spokesman Alex Contreras told Prensa Latina that
America's primate university will decorate Morales in recognition to
his trajectory as a social fighter.

The President will also meet with Dominican President Leonel Fernandez,
and with other authorities and leaders of social movements.

Morales will return Monday to continue with a nine-day tour in Chile,
venue of the 17th Iberoamerican Summit of Heads of State and Government.

On Monday, the President will participate in the so-called "Abuela de
las Marchas", summoned in defense of a life annuity to support old age,
in the southern department of Santa Cruz.

He will later travel to Potosi, to commemorate the 197th anniversary of
the shout of freedom given on November 10, 1810 and there he will
promulgate the recently approved Rights of the Indigenous Peoples Act.

On Thursday, he will arrive at Santiago de Chile to meet with his
Ibero-American counterparts, who will debate on cohesion and social
policies to achieve more inclusive societies.
