Canada, China, Italy, Panama and Spain will be the foreign countries with the biggest representation in the 25th edition of FIHAV, the greatest commercial fair in Cuba and one of the most important in the region. Maciques said there will be 15 pavilions and important delegations coming from Brazil, Belgium, Argentina, France, Mexico, France, Venezuela and US. The US delegation will be bigger than in the 24th edition, and will be headed by the Governor of the US state of Nebraska, and other representatives. Turkey and Iran will be among a group of nations with an important participation, and FIHAV 2007 will be preceded by the 2nd Non Aligned Movement Business Forum from November 1 to 3 at the Havana Convention Center. Raul Becerra, president of the Cuban Commerce Chamber, organizer of FIHAV 2007, said that up to now, 180 entrepreneurs from more than 35 nations will take part in the 2nd NAM Business Forum, with representatives of 24 national commerce chambers and no less than 16 NAM great personalities. The wide participation of entrepreneurs in the 25th edition of the Havana International Fair will show the world's rejection to the blockade of the United States government against Cuba. "With the biggest participation of countries and managers we will show the rejection to the anti-Cuban politics of Washington," Maciques specified after condemning the worsening of the hostility on the part of the administration of George W. Bush. Many of the assistants to the NAM meeting then will participate in FIHAV, Cuban Foreign Trade Vice Minister Luis Padron expressed. According to the program, the inaugural session will be next Friday, for there will be sessions in panels on the South-South cooperation in science, energy, public health, education and others. The second panel will be in charge of the cooperation and economic integration, the regional experiences and the role of the enterprise sector, and the third will turn about international trade, and formulas and possibilities of enlarging the exchange. ef tac rs PL-4 * ================================================================= NY Transfer News Collective * A Service of Blythe Systems Since 1985 - Information for the Rest of Us Our main website: http://www.blythe.org List Archives: http://blythe-systems.com/pipermail/nytr/ Subscribe: http://blythe-systems.com/mailman/listinfo/nytr =================================================================
