Fujimori Followers Disrupt Trial, Threaten Victims

Lima, Dec 19 (Prensa Latina) Peru's National Human Rights Coordinating
Office on Wednesday denounced the constant threats and aggressions by
followers of ex Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori against relatives
of the victims of the bloodsheds for which he has been charged.

The pro-human rights commission expressed indignation for the behavior
adopted by Fujimori's supporters during his trial, which also included
hostile acts against civilian lawyers.

According to the denunciation and press reports, his allies are in the
surrounding and inside the police station where the process is taking
place.

Without any control, the coordinating office sustains, they insult and
attack anyone contrary to the ex president.

Supreme prosecutor Jose Pelaez warned that if the aggressions and
disorder continue, he will ask that Fujimori be taken to the naval base
of Callao port to be tried there.
