Santiago de Cuba Ready to Welcome Hugo Chavez

Havana, Dec 20 (acn) The people of Santiago de Cuba are preparing a 
massive welcoming on Saturday to receive Venezuelan President Hugo 
Chavez, reported Granma newspaper.

This will be Chavez's first visit to Santiago de Cuba, the country's 
second largest city.

Chavez is already in Cuba to attend the Petrocaribe Summit Friday in 
Cienfuegos and take part in the re-opening of the Camilo Cienfuegos Oil 
Refinery in that south-central Cuban port city.

Streets and plazas of Santiago are being decorated for Chavez' visit as 
hundreds of children, students and workers get ready for the welcoming.
