Air Canada Vacations Open New Flights into Cuba

Santa Clara, Dec 21 (acn) Canadian airline Air Canada Vacations will be 
flying into the northern keys of Villa Clara to the International 
Airport Abel Santamaria, Santa Clara.

Around 240 tourists will be flying weekly with the Canadian company in 
flights scheduled for Thursday and Sunday from Toronto and Montreal, 
respectively throughout the winter season that concludes in April.

Air Canada Vacation's spokesperson Sophy Khwaya said the airport is in 
very good condition and expressed her satisfaction that the company 
will be working this new destination. She said Villa Clara's northern 
keys are very appealing for Canadians because of the quality of its 
beaches, the natural resources and the comfort of the hotels.

Villa Clara's keys, located 300 Kms to the east of Havana, are known 
for their natural luxury and constitute a developing tourist area with 
more than 2,000 rooms currently available, which are expected to 
increase in the coming years without harming the natural environment.

Among the main tourist destinations for the Canadian market in the 
Caribbean are Cuba, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
