Alexander Lukashenko is on an official visit to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. "We can state that the collaboration of our countries has reached the level of strategic partnership testified by regular contacts between the presidents of the countries," added Alexander Lukashenko. It is the fourth meeting of the heads of Belarus and Venezuela since July 2006. During the negotiations the leaders of the two countries confirmed the readiness to promote productive dialogue in the specific cooperation avenues they had defined during bilateral meetings in Minsk. Belarusian experts believe that the authority and influence of Venezuela in Latin America and the Non-Aligned Movement may contribute to more vigorous promotion of Belarus' interests in other countries of Latin America.
