Meeting of ALBA Council of Ministers Begins in Havana

Havana, Sept 20 (acn) The Second Meeting of the Council of Ministers of 
the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA) begins on Thursday 
in Havana with the presence of high-level delegations from Venezuela, 
Bolivia, Nicaragua and Cuba.

According to Granma news daily, the meeting will be a favorable 
occasion to check on the implementation of the agreements reached at 
the previous meeting held in Caracas last June.

Participants will also review the implementation of the Cooperation 
Accords and the process of institutionalization of ALBA, agreed upon 
during the Fifth Summit of ALBA Heads of State in Barquisimeto, 
Venezuela.
