Imperial Govts Two-Faced on Terrorism

Caracas, Sep 12 (Prensa Latina) The imperial governments have a dual
morality regarding terrorism, crusading against it while having secret
and moveable prisons, denounced Horacio Pinto, political coordinator of
the Venezuela-Cuba solidarity movement.

In statements to Prensa Latina Wednesday, Pinto said the best way to
fight terrorism is to reduce inequalities and injustice.

"When the peoples of the world have their culture and religion
respected, with better life conditions, we are really strengthening the
struggle against this blight," he stated.

"In that context, we will hold a day of solidarity and support with the
Cuban Five, with a wide activity program of videos, exchange forums and
an international colloquium," he added.

Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez, Ramon LabaC1ino
and Rene Gonzalez are in US prisons for alerting the Cuban government
of the activity of terrorist groups in Florida.

At the same time Pinto said there will be denouncements of the actions
committed by Luis Posada Carriles, now under the protection of the US
government, another example of dual terrorism morality.

Pinto recalled that Posada Carriles is wanted for crimes in Venezuela
and other countries and is responsible for the 1976 explosion of a
Cubana de Aviacion plane with 73 people aboard.
