Puerto Rican Nationalist Hero Gets Death Threats

San Juan, Sep 7 (Prensa Latina) Puerto Rican freedom fighter Rafael
Cancel Miranda denounced on Friday he has been receiving death threats
from unknown people by telephone.

Cancel Miranda served 25 years in US prisons, along with Lolita Lebron,
Andres Figueroa and Irving Flores, for attacking the US Congress in
1954.

"This time we recorded the man's voice threatening to rip off my head,"
said the ex political prisoner, who stressed that no one will
intimidate him and he will not quit his fight against US imperial
domination of Puerto Rico.

Cancel Miranda said he will continue to defend all forms of struggle,
including armed, to make Puerto Rico free and sovereign after 109 years
of US colonial rule.
