Meanwhile other Central American countries remain on alert for possible flooding and landslides, reported AFP news service. President Ortega traveled to Puerto Cabezas (also known as Bilwi), the largest population center affected by Felix, and warned that the number of deaths could rise as more information comes in from the outlying rural communities. Besides the severe damage in Puerto Cabezas, 90 percent of the infrastructure was destroyed in the coastal communities of Sandy Bay, Bismona and others, reported Civil Defense authorities.
