Since September 12, 1998, Fernando Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero, Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon LabaC1ino and Rene Gonzalez - the Cuban Five, as they are internationally known - are in prison for having infiltrated anti-Cuba terrorist groups in Miami and passing on information to the Cuban government about their terrorist plans against the people on the island. The rally, that will take place in front of the former Federal Court in the Old San Juan, is being organized by the students of the Eugenio Maria Hostos Law School, the organization of Pro-Independence Law Students (EDPI), the Hostosiano National Pro-Independence Movement, The New School, the Socialist Front, and others. These organizations have expressed their unconditional support of the cause of Cuban Five who have been in prison for almost nine years. According to Leonardo Cruz Morales, spokesman of the Hostosiano National Pro-Independence Movement, the process against the Five was biased and full of violations. * ================================================================= .NY Transfer News Collective * A Service of Blythe Systems .
