More than 2,200 Health Professionals to Graduate this Month

Havana, July 9 (acn) More than 2,200 health professionals from Cuba and 
other nations will receive their graduate diplomas during a ceremony 
that will take place next July 24th at the Karl Marx Theater in Havana.

According to the sources of the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in 
the Cuban capital, this graduation will be the third of the 
Havana-based Latin American School of Medicine and it will include 
graduates of medicine, estomatology, nursing and heath technologies.

The foreign graduates come from 25 countries with the largest numbers 
for Paraguay (96), El Salvador (93), Guatemala, Honduras and Nigeria 
(91) and Peru and Colombia (73).

In addition, eight young American graduates will also receive their
diplomas.
