With the objective of consolidating regional integration, the organzationB4s leadership is already elaborating a regional code for investment, included in the program of the mechanism, he said. "Shaping a single economy has to be put in the context of the world economic relations," Arthur said. He said CARICOM will analyze during the three coming days the progress in the integration process to implement free circulation of people in 2008, and reaching a common economic space in 2015. The plan will become a reality in two stages: first (2008-2009) the Single Market, and second (2010-2015) trying to harmonize the tax and monetary policies, and creating a single currency, he said.
