World Colloquium on Cuban Five

Havana , Oct 31 (Prensa Latina) The 3rd International Colloquium on
five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters unfairly imprisoned in United States
for fighting terrorism will take place November 2-3, "Juventud Rebelde"
newspaper reports Wednesday.

The meeting, underway in the eastern Cuban province of Holguin, 408
miles of Havana , will have the participation of representatives from
organizations of solidarity with the island, lawyers and youth from
several countries studying in Cuba.

Relatives from Rene Gonzalez, Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero,
Fernando Gonzalez and Ramon Labanino will share experiences and
vicissitudes as for the reiterated denial of permissions by Washington
to visit them, states the daily.

The book "Desde la soledad y la esperanza," an anthology of works
inspired by the Cuban Five, as they are universally known, will be
launched at the meeting.
