The founder of the Rabinowitz, Boudin, Standard, Krinsky and Lieberman P.C. law firm in New York was an untiring fighter for civil rights. He also made a significant contribution to defending Cubabs interests in the United States. Rabinowitz was a pioneer in taking on the Cuba issue and played an important role in obtaining rulings that favored the island. That effort included defending the legal basis for the nationalizations undertaken by the revolution and for the right of US citizens to freely visit Cuba.
