Venezuelan Military Students Visit Cuba

Havana, Jul 12 (acn) A delegation from Venezuela's Senior Air Force 
Academy (Escuela Superior de Guerra AC)rea) is visiting Cuba for an 
exchange with military institutions on the island.

The group is led by the school's director Major General Wilson Ricardo 
Martin. During their stay in Cuba, they have visited various military 
schools and institutions in the country, including the headquarters of 
the Playa Giron Air Force Brigade, according to XINHUA news agency.

"It is very important for the Venezuelan students and professors to 
learn from the Cuban experience on military training," said Martin.

The visitors were impressed by the maintenance and the well-kept state 
of the military technology, and they praised the excellent training of 
the Cuban pilots, who gave a practical demonstration.

The Venezuelan delegation also visited the Jose Marti Technical 
Military Institute in Havana, the aviation area and the flight 
simulators.

Founded in 1948, the Venezuela's Senior Air Force Academy has played an 
important role in the training of air force officers in the Bolivarian 
Armed Forces.
