Mayan World Becomes a Tourist Package

Mexico, Aug 13 (Prensa Latina) The Mayan region, comprising parts of
Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Belize, is now
consolidated as a tourist product with air connections, ready to be
promoted internationally.

Mexican and Central American airlines are readying agreements to offer
options in an attractive circle at the World Travel Market
International Fair in London in November.

This first step, said the organizers, is possible thanks to the work
done by air companies and other entities of the region.

Mexican Rodolfo Elizondo, president of the Mexican organization, said
the agreement has no precedent in Mexico, because this includes
authorization for two airlines from each country to fly within the
region.
