History of Nazi to be Filmed in Bolivia

La Paz, Jul l (Prensa Latina) The life in Bolivia of German Nazi Klaus
Barbie, since his arrival in the 1950s until his extradition to France
in 1982, will be shot in this city, according to an official release.

The National Film Confederation said in a report it will be a joint
work by companies and filmmakers from Europe, Argentina, and Bolivia.

Entitled "La Traque," the film deals with the story of Serge and Beate
Klarsfeld, the couple who in the 1970s carefully tracked Barbie until
detecting his covert presence in Bolivia.

The movie, to be mainly broadcast by the European TV next year, is
directed by Laurent Jaoui, who has a vast experience in feature films.

Local actors Jesus Rojas, Fernando Arze, Jorge Ortiz, Jorge Hidalgo,
and Luis Caballero are among the characters.
