The campesinos arrived at this capital with the intention of pressing right-wing representatives to call off their hunger strike, according to Bolivian News Agency ABI. In the headquarters of the Constituent Assembly, 11 women have stopped eating in an effort to demand two thirds vote for the passing of the new constitutional text in all of its stages. This Friday, the country went through a day of tension, caused by a strike called by civilian leaders of Pando, Beni, Santa Cruz and Tarija Departments, who demand the two thirds as vote methods in the Constituent Assembly. Authorities described the strike as a failure, since it is mainly obeyed by Tarija, Santa Cruz, Beni and Pando businessmen, with none or limited popular participation. sus gdb apf mf PL-14 * ================================================================ .NY Transfer News Collective * A Service of Blythe Systems .
