Delegates from over 20 countries will attend FIL, at which outstanding advocate of the rights of indigenous people and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Rigoberta Menchu, will receive the Quinto Sol Order in recognition of her contribution to the development of regional indigenous communities. FIL attendees will discuss ethnic groups4 woes, such as lack of health assistance, education and land, and the impact of immigration. Women's rights advocate, Sandra Moran, stated that Evo Morales is a paradigm for the world, given what he is doing for his people's rights. She said that his visit is a good sign for Guatemala. Morales will also meet with his Guatemalan counterpart, Oscar Berger.
