The Dept of Livestock continues to slaughter the last remaining wild Buffalo. These Indigenous women representatives have and are presenting these issues to the United Nations, and lawsuits in U.S. Courts. The U.N. Commission on Racism has recently issued a full Declaration in regard to the situation Of the Western Shoshone, and has ordered the U.S. to 'cease and desist against' any further actions and immediately iniate dialogue with the Western Shoshone in regard to ongoing human rights violations. The Western Shoshone and others have also filed a successful injunction in court to delay the reinstated bombing at the Nevada Test site, called the 'Divine Strike'. Dine and Hopi representatives have a lawsuit in court against Peabody Coal Co. for the depletion of our 2nd largest Aquifer.
