I will try to touch your heart.
I reach into your thoughts and by doing so hope you will begin to question
the truth.
Question the reason for the FBI cover up of Leonard Peltier.

February 6th, 2005, began Leonard Peltiers 30th year in Prison.
So Many years. It's more than half of my own life.
Consider this period of time.
Consider it in the reality of Leonard's world.
So many years, the question still remains, why?
After Leonard's first parole hearing, the court in its written statement
issued the following words, and I quote,  There is the possibility that
the the jury would have acquitted Leonard Peltier, had the records and
data improperly withheld from the defense, been made available to him.
Withheld I say in order to better exploit and reinforce the
inconsistencies, in the government's case.
Such was the decision of the 8th circuit court of appeals.

Then why, after what can only be considered another of the many cop outs
of our judicial branch, did the judge further write, in a letter
requesting that Peltier be released Thru executive clemency,  The FBI
used improper tactics in securing Peltier's extradition from Canada, and
in otherwise investigating and trying the Peltier case The FBI - lied,
they perjured, and they did not tell the truth, they by any means
necessary were going to convict someone.

There were others like Peltier who, as it was told long ago, of the ones
going away to Ft. Leavenworth. It was told to the Honored Sicangu, Spotted
Tail, as he went to Leavenworth. The ones that go there never return. But
as Spotted Tail committed no crime, he gave himself up for his people.
Spotted tail went to Leavenworth, then Spotted Tail returned to his
People.
Leonard Peltier has also given himself for his people and he also has
walked from that place called Leavenworth. As Spotted Tail before him. He
Walked from that Darkness, into another living hell.
We pray for the day that he walks into The light of his peoples eyes and
his family's arms.

We must remember to never give up hope. We must pray every day.
And we must have perseverance, wowacintanka, (wo-wah-chin-tan-kah). To
persist, to strive in spite of difficulties.
Creator, may this day be blessed with the knowledge that the Chunku Luta
the red road is the path we have chosen to walk, and the path you bless
each day for us, and Leonard Peltier.

In his recent move, your fresh words and thoughts you give him will be the
sounds and whispers he will imagine in his cell at night.
May these words inspire the world to set Leonard free.
