An urgent message from Lenny Charles at International News Network Date: Wed, 15 Aug 2007 22:50:53 -0500 (CDT) I'd like to thank everyone in the 911 movement for being the absolute best supporters of the International News Network daily World Report on Freespeech TV and our website INNWorldreport.net. Together we have brought thousands of stories and hundreds of amazing interviews to viewers across America and beyond. For those of you who may not be familiar with us, our byline "Real News the Networks Won't Tell You" says it all. We have included 9/11 news mixed in with other important world headlines. I don't believe there has been a significant 9/11 scientist, researcher or filmmaker on this important topic that we have not had on the show. Many have joined us in the studio, others on the phone. There is a partial list at the bottom, some with links to the dates they appeared. We appreciate that today many people get their news exclusively from the web but we feel that broadcast television adds legitimacy and brings in more people as we say "wake up and smell the sulfur." INN is viewer supported national broadcast TV. I don't see any corporations coming forward to support this message. That leaves a small staff and patriots like yourselves to get the truth out. In order to survive we need to put together a friends of INN list . Somewhere between 20 and 50 people who can afford between $50 and $500 each month for 6 months so we can grow, increase distribution, web presence and overall quality. Each month small checks come in from viewers and friends to help us stay on the air. Especially during the summer this doesn't come close to paying our expenses. We are now 5 weeks back in pay to the 4 people who along with myself produce not only the daily TV show but the top of the hour news for a growing number of community radio stations around the country. Our weekly salaries and expenses are less than $2000. Compare that to Democracy Now at 80 or 90 thousand per week much less Rupert Murdoch's several million dollars a minute to spew hate. The price of gatekeeping has gone up and truth is still the best bargain. We know we must remain on the air daily to compete for viewers. After 5 years let's not go off the air for lack of support. We do have sound financial strategies for a future but if we close up shop we will loose our national timeslot and our team will breakup. We really need your help one more time. We could also use a few volunteers with web and organizational skills to keep our website current and work with fall interns also.
