Electroshock survivor George Ebert led off yesterday's New York State Office of Mental Health public hearing by directly challenging OMH Commissioner Hogan about the forced electroshock of Simone D.! Reports George, "I explained that as as victim, a survivor, of coerced shock treatment I felt very threatened. His response was something like, 'Not to worry, only one person in a million in New York State gets court ordered shock treatment.'"
