Just to provide a little perspective:

I live in Minneapolis. I have purchased contraceptives from Muslims
here, I've bought bacon at Target from Muslims, and I've ridden in a
cab piss-drunk driven by Muslims.

The media has been blowing this up, and making Minneapolis look like
"Taliban has landed," when in reality it is probably a couple of
employees.

We do have a lot of Muslims here because almost all of Somalia's
political refugees that come to the US settle here. I think that we're
facing the same issues that any community would expect to face when a
large population of immigrants settles in a short amount of time.
They've just been under the microscope more than other groups because
they're Muslim.
