Subject: NucNews - Note to subscribers Story-Date: 04:29 a.m. PST Saturday , July 24, 1999 Sender: owner-nukenet@envirolink.org X-Listprocessor-Version: 8.2.07 -- ListProc(tm) by CREN I received a call from a worried subscriber yesterday concerned he might have been dropped from the list so I decided it was time to stop trying to play catchup and simply let you all know NucNews is temporarily unavailable online because of legal concerns (see http://prop1.org/nucnews/briefs.htm) and the e-mag will come in a large clump hopefully before too many more days. I'm woefully far behind. I HAVE been collecting the data but processing it is very time-consuming and I've been busy working on other projects of some urgency. Bottom line my apologies for the delay. (There need to be others helping with this project or it will I'm afraid die on the vine). I'll be teaching a workshop on NucNews at the Ann Arbor Abolition 2000 - USA session in October. If you plan to be there and would like to get some pointers on how to do your own news searches look me up sign up for the workshop send me an email with "NucNews" at the beginning of the subject line. MEANWHILE you can do your own search TODAY by going to http://prop1.org/nucnews/links.htm -- these are the sources for the information I collect for NucNews most of them already pre-set for the search. You can also use these search engines to enter your own key words. Happy hunting. Be glad to answer questions. Someday will put the whole NucNews set on a CD and make copies for people who share my passion for archiving. Let me know if you're one of them....
