scientist Dr. Peter H. lee was judged by a federal court to one year
in a community corrections facility because of charges that he
gave secret information to China. By these informations it is
the question about national defence secrecy as how to use
lasers to create microsophic nuclear explosions.



WASHINGTON
March 26 `98 (UPI) _ According to a report
standing in the journal scientist the Yucca Mountain (Nevada)
which was seen as favorite possibility to store high
radioactive nuclear waste shows instabilities which could make
him useless as permanent storage.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission that can take final

Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International
Security Affairs John Holum visited Beijing where he held
discussions about China`s weapons proliferation program.
Holum told that he was very pleased with the discussions
because China has "lived up to specific commitments" regarding
arms control.
Further he began to prepare President Clinton`s visit to
Beijing which should take place in June.
