Oct 23 `97 (AFP)-U.S. officials have tried to
prepare an agreement which make it possible for China to stop
its nuclear cooperation with Iran and Pakistan
so that the
U.S. will be able to sale  nuclear technology to China and to
become a possibility to control China`s nuclear weapon
program.
For to make the U.S. population agreeing in this program the
image of China in the USA shall be changed from the cruel
image of 1989 into the picture of a modern state.




WASHINGTON (Reuters 10/23) `97 - The Environmental Protection
Agency declared on Thursday that the salt caverns in New
Mexico are probably save for to store medium-grade radioactive
waste.

the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research (IEER) the
Department of Energy`s (DOE)  cleanup works of contaminated
sites are full of faults and carelessness. The  DOE announced
on Thursday that they will review the report.

nuclear waste was in the foreground. It was warned of the
possible marginalisation of smaller countries because of the
growing economical globalisation.

Braidwood from the utility Commenwealth Edison (ComEd) has
become very good marks through the federal Nuclear Regulatory
Commission  which visited it from 1995 to 1997.

concerns.

US summit starting October 29 Clinton told on Friday that
China would keep its promise not to support unsafeguarded
nuclear installations in other countries. But it is still
uncertain if Beijing stops its nuclear weapon technology
exports especially to countries like Iran and Pakistan which
don`t permit international inspections.
Clinton however still has the possibility to restrict U.S.
firm`s exports of nuclear technology to China when he will
lift the ban in asking the Commerce and Treasury Department to
distribute licenses.
