President Clinton is optimistic that China will also stop its nuclear cooperation with Teheran which would be very important for his policy of isolationship. As U.S. officials say China has become a more cooperative partner on nuclear issues. It has signed among others the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty.
