BEIJING
Nov 10 (AFP)`97 -During the Sino-Russian summit on
Monday no result was made over the nuclear cooperation. This
means that the plan to let Russia install two nuclear reactors
in China is still uncertain.



MOSCOW
Nov 10 (AFP) `97 - A well known Russian academic told
in an interview on Monday that in Russia there are existing
suitcase
nuclear bombs which are not under the control from
President Yeltsin. The risk that they will become stolen isn`t
great but the possibility exists.



WASHINGTON (Reuters 11/10) `97 - The US  Department of Defense
is worried about the nuclear power plant that should be installed
in Cuba
having worth safety standarts. But as a US defense
analyse group having been send there told the plant will probably
not beeing finished for years.
Cuba wants to install this plant with support from Russia to be
independant of energy imports.



JAKARTA
Nov 11 (AFP) `97 - After having signed an agreement on
nuclear research and technology with the Indonesian Research and
Technology minister
the Australian official Moore told that
Indonesia wouldn`t have the plan to build a nuclear power plant
in the next decades. Indonesia still uses hydro
coal and fuel
generated electricity to supply the country with energy.



Bangkok (Reuters) 11 Nov `97- Radioactive gemstones
some of them
already finished to jewelry have been found on the Asian market.
The radiation in some of the gemstones lies 50 times over the US
safety limit. Wearing it
it could easily cause cancer or other
sicknessess. The source of these stones isn`t still known but it
is very likely to be Indonesia.
