HANOI 13 Sept. 1997 (Reuter) - Downed US aircraft during the Vietnam
War had uranium stabilizers. The newspapers in Vietnam say more than
a ton of uranium is seized from smugglers and others in the four
years. The official Vietnam newsagency says the uranium is from
nuclear waste and belongs to the USA.


WASHINGTON Sept.13 1997 (AP) --  A secret US airforce study indicate
the seismic event in August near Novaya Zemlaya was an earthquake and
not a  nuclear bomb test.


WASHINGTON 13 Sept.1997 (Reuter) - A military supercomputer exported
by the USA to China in February this year is handed over by the
Chinese military for civilian use. It is not sure the computer will
return to the USA.
