MOSCOW Sept 10 1997 (AP) -- The spokesman of pres. Yeltsin
Sergei Yastrzhenbsky guarantees full control over the nuclear
charges and denies that Russia lost tracks of the 100 nuclear
bombs Alexandr Lebed spoke about.

MOSCOW
Sept 10 1997 (AFP) - A 50 MW floating nuclear power plant
will be built in the Arctic region of Chukotka to replace coal-fired
power station. The reactor is from a Soviet-type nuclear submarine.

TAIPEI
Sept 10 (AFP) - Taiwan wants to go ahead with shipping
60 000 drums of nuclear waste to North Korea with the possibility for
increasing this amount to 200 000 drums. Reports say North Korea
receives 1300 US dollars a barrel.

LAS VEGAS
Sept. 10 1997 (UPI) -- In old homes in Utah and Nevada
researchers found radioactive dust from the atomic bomb tests of
the 1940's and 1950's. The suggestion is postulated that part of the
radioactive debris is from dust storms until recent times so the
contamination is continuing even after 40 years.


MOSCOW (Reuter) Sept 10 1997 - Acoording the Russian Foreign Ministry
there is no cooperation in nuclear missile technology between Iran
and Russia. Israel says Russia and China supplies Iran with
long-range nuclear missiles.
