at Ward Valley
U.S.
said only one percent of the waste
would derive from academical and medical sources
while 60 to
90 percent will come from nuclear power plants. States are
obliged to build dump sites for medical radioactive waste.

detonating above the U.S. could create an electromagnetic
pulse that could cause computers to crash.

1997 (UPI) - Georgian president Eduard Shevardnadze
and U.S. Defense Secretary William Cohen signed a Cooperative
Threat Reduction agreement at the pentagon today. The deal is
meant to reduce the danger of nuclear proliferation.
