May 22, 1997 (Reuter) - During a meeting between IAEA
Director-general Hans Blix and Japanese Power Reactor and
Nuclear Fuel Development Corp. president Toshiyuki Kondo, it
was agreed that the IAEA shall watch the PNC more carefully.
Subject of the talks were mainly safety matters.

buisness from investing in Sweden, made in a national
television news, the U.S. ambassador to Sweden, Thomas
Siebert, pissed off the Swedish gouvernment.

May 22, 1997 (Reuter) - The EU plans to enter the Korean
Penisula Energy Development Organisation (KEDO), a consortiom
lead by South Korea, the U.S. and Japan, which will construct
two light water reactors. The membership means European
companies could take part in the construction works. The EU
will contribute $86 million to the consortium.
