Apr 21, 1997 (Reuter) - Russian officials strongly rejected a
report of the German newspaper Frankfurter allgemeine Zeitung,
which had claimes two warheads had been stolen in 1993 by
drunken workmen. "I never heard anything more idiotic,"
Nikolai Yegorov, Russian deputy atomic energy minister said.

Apr 22, 1997 (Reuter) - The South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo
cited on Tuesday what it called a North Korean secret report
of Hwang Jang-yop dated august last year as saying North Korea
would be able to win a war against the South and could attack
Japan if the U.S. would try to intervene.

Apr 22, 1997 (Reuter) - Speaking to the Japanese Parliament,
director of the state owned PNC, Toshiyuki Kondo, said the
cooperation would consider privatising its uranium enrichment
and nuclear fuel processing branches. There would already
negtiations with the Japan Nuclear Fuel Ltd. about a take over
of the uranium enrichment operation.
