to put the station from its watch-list. The station is planned
to reopen in midsummer.

Mar 12, 1997 (Reuter) - The nuclear complex at Tokaimura, 160
km northeast of Tokyo was shut down after an explosion on
Tuesday, which contaminated 21 workers. an official of Power
Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corp., the operator of
the plant, granted that there was radiation leaked to the
environment, but said there was no danger. the facility
reprocesses 12 percent of the spent nuclear fuel from Japan's
reactors.

Technology Jusuf Habibie said th contry would need a nuclear
power plant maybe back in 2020 or 2030, withdrawing plans to
build a 7,100 MW station by 2003. Indonesia is very rich in
