Feb 12, 1997 (Reuter) - Jan Wong, leader of the south Korean
environmental group Green Korea said activists, if necessary,
forcibly block the waste transpoert from Taiwan to North
Korea.

Feb 12, 1997 (UPI) - According to the Press Trust of India
Russia stands firm on the supply of two light-water reactors
to India despite concerns voiced by the U.S. On a visit of
Indian Foreign Minister Inder Kumar Gujral both sides would
have reaffirmed the $2.6 billion deal.
