``Initiation a la force de frappe francaise'' (Introduction to
the French Strike Force), written under a pseudonym by a
retired colonel, french military considered the use of short-
range nuclear missiles when french soldiers were threatend by
Serbs in 1994 in the northern Bihac pocket, yet the missiles
were never shipped.

Jan 23, 1997 (Reuter) - According to the wahingtin Post of
tuesday, the U.S. gouvernment is considering a proposal to cut
nuclear warheads of Russia and the U.S. down to about 2,000 on
both sides, which goes beyond the Start II treaty. This is
seen as a way to encourage the russian parliament to ratify
Start II.

plant in Spring City, Tennessee, U.S., the main feedwater
pumps had automaticly shut down for still unknown reasons. The
utility, TVA nuclear, is investigating the case and hadn't
named a restart date yet.
