Jan 7, 1996 (Reuter) - The russian gouvernment has thwarted a
transfer of highly enriched uranium from the former soviet
rebublic of Georgia, raising bureaucratic, technical and
financial. The U.S. had put pressure on both states to
transport the weapons grade material to a safer site in
Russia.
