The accident happend about 120 km southeast of Gotland. The pilot was not found. 16 Oct 1996 (Reuter) - Russian Defense Secretary Igor Rodionov agreed with his American counterpart, William Perry, to force the ratification of the START-2 treaty about nuclear arms reduction, which most of the russsian lawmakers still reject.
