World Television, former Soviet President Michail Gorbachev
pointed out that the possible raising of the US military
budget, the expansion of the NATO and the construction of new
ballistic missles would be counterproductive for the process
of nuclear disamament in Russia. The discussion, in which
Haitian former President Jean Bertrand Aristide, Israeli
former Foreign Minister Abba Eban and others took part, too,
was also about how to protect from nuclear terrorists.
