29 may 1996 (Reuter) - China is considering buiilding a
nuclear power station on the Yangtze River with a planned
capacity of 4,000 megawatts, the  Xinhua news agency said on
Wednesday. The plant would be built in Maozishan in eastern
Jiangxi province and would have four generating units, two to
be installed from 2001-2005 in the first stage of the project,
Xinhua said.
