     24 Jan 1996 (Reuter) - Indonesia said it hoped to start
building nuclear power plants within two to three years with
foreign help. Djali Ahimsa, director-general of the National
Atomic Agency (BATAN), told reporters after meeting President
Suharto that they are awaiting the results of a site study
which will be concluded in May or June. Foreign consultants
would then reassess the study, he said.
